Result
This design for Herter Park focuses on past, present and future conditions of the site, neighboring Allston, and the Charles River. The park is envisioned as an elastic site, one that mediates between past, present and future conditions, between built and spontaneous environments, present inhabitants and future developers, between river and road. In addition, the design focuses on connective mobility through four pathway types: Parkway, Meander, Canopy Walk, and Littoral Boardwalk which collectively offer multiple opportunities for engagement with the site and the layers of experience contained within.  



Herter Park

Located in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston, Herter Park is the largest section of park along the Charles River Basin with a total of 60 acres of parkland.

Approach
The Noble N features 2 notches, and is reminiscent of a marked box. Paired with simple illustrations, this brand system takes the topic of paperwork and removes a bit of the stress.
